Veliero OS
Il Veliero's operating system: budget tracking, quotes and task management. Prototyped in two weeks in Notion, now in testing with the sales and buying teams.
‘Veliero OS’ is Il Veliero’s operating system. It is a tool that aims to automate many aspects of Il Veliero’s activities, from budget tracking to creating quotes for clients. It was prototyped in two weeks using Notion for survey management and database organisation. It is currently in the testing phase, but has already helped reduce the amount of work for both the sales and buyer team.

The Home
On the Home page we find the entry points to everything else — creating a quote, adding a task — over the calendar of what’s coming.
The Kanbanboard
We decided to use a Kanban board to manage the quotes and keep track of the status of negotiations.
In this overview, users need access to information other than the client’s name, so I display the date of the event and its total cost.
The Budget Tracker
I must admit that I started with a template and then customised it extensively to meet Veliero’s requirements. This dashboard provides a quick overview of the balance.
There are two other buttons — I love buttons — that I find useful for adding new incomes or expenses and allocating them to the right category.
